JEFFREY D. KRAUSS
Chairman of the Board
Jeffrey D. Krauss serves as
Chairman of the Board and has over 40 years of
experience in the financial service industry.
Prior to forming Kaplan, Krauss & Levine, he was
the principle owner of one of
New York’s largest insurance
agencies which he sold to a publicly traded corporation.
He also served as a Senior Vice President of an

with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

Having spent his entire career in insurance and
financial planning, he is widely recognized for his
expertise in sophisticated Estate and Insurance
Mr. Krauss has lectured nationally before numerous
insurance, civic, charitable and financial planning
organizations on such diverse topics as Estate Planning,
Life Insurance Taxation, Charitable Planning and
Corporate Benefit Planning.
His articles have appeared in a number of
Professional Journals and his views have been reported
in the New York Times, The National Underwriter and the
Congressional Federal Register.
He has been on the Board of Directors of both the
New York and Palm Beach County
Society of Financial Service Professionals.
He was President of the
Board Positions held include The New York Centre for
Financial Studies, and Addison Reserve Country Club.
Mr. Krauss has received numerous insurance awards and
served on the advisory Boards of 9 different insurance
